About our foodbank
Here is an introduction to our project.
Craigavon Area Foodbank, which opened in October 2012, is a project founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in our local area.
We have a small group of volunteers (and can always use more) who help in the warehouse and the Distribution Centres.
We always need non-perishable items of food. Our space is limited but we currently have a real need for : Tinned vegetables, tinned meat, tinned fish, instant potato and long life milk.
We currently have sufficient stock of : Tinned Soup, Tinned Beans, Pasta and Breakfast Cereal
Please note: we cannot stock fresh food items (bread, meat, cheese etc) and we do not distribute sugar, fortified drinks, medicine, baby formula or items containing alcohol.
